Kim & Tamara
Kim & Tamara met while volunteering & organizing several large fundraisers in their community. They soon discovered a mutual love of art, wearing the same shoes, knitting, Broadway, biking and more. Pixelwinx (2013) was the next step in their creative partnership - helping others with something all people love - photos.
Over the last 10+ years, Pixelwinx has helped overwhelmed clients with their photo chaos. We love photos and the stories they hold and bring our expertise and care to every photo project big or small. Kim and Tamara love exploring new ways to create and grow with photos. Pixiepurl Studios is our “alter ego” for those projects. Come play with us.
Meet your storytellers - Kim & Tamara
Kim Rankin
Kim has a degree in Advertising Design from Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD). Since graduating in 1994, she spent many years freelancing design for clients, agencies and corporations in Columbus, Florida and Scottsdale. Kim is a lover of the outdoors, and is up for a fun hike or bike ride anytime. She can also be found hanging with her kids and husband, spending time with pup Nala, knitting, crafting or working on her family photos. While creating and organizing annual photo albums for her family, Kim discovered a missing piece in the digital world. Hence - Pixelwinx was born.
Tamara Wawrosch (Wah~roash)
Tamara graduated from Capital University with a degree in Business and German(her parent’s language). She developed her keen sense of customer service and 'team attitude' while at IBM resolving complex contract and administrative issues for large clients. Tamara loves to learn new things, hanging with her young adult kids, traveling, spending time near the water, knitting, and of course many walks and snuggles with her pup Oscar. She also loves taking photos and would like to get them organized some day!
